SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Gaels took advantage of dominant second and fourth quarters and a career-high, 14 points from freshman on Thursday afternoon. As a result, SMC went on to a record their largest point differential of the season with an 80-55 win over UC Santa Barbara.

- QUARTER 1 | Saint Mary's took an early, 5-2 lead, but a 5-1 Gauchos run gave UCSB their first lead of the game (7-6). Both sides went back-and-forth until a layup by junior Jasmine Forcadilla tied the game at 10 points apiece with 5:07 to play in the quarter.
