SAN MATEO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced its 2023 Hall of Honor Inductees, and this year's class includes Louella Tomlinson of Saint Mary's College. Tomlinson was a two-time WCC Defensive Player of the Year in her time at SMC from 2007-11.
She remains the NCAA all-time leader in shot blocks per game at 5.3 and is second all-time in NCAA history in total shots blocked at 663, behind Brittany Griner's 748 blocks in 23 fewer games played.
The Melbourne, Victoria native has the most career shot blocks of any WCC player, the highest shots blocked average per WCC contest at 5.
