MORAGA, Calif. — Who knew basketball was an outdoor sport? It probably felt like that a lot when playing the Gaels during the 2019-20 season, as it was constantly raining – raining down threes, that is. The women's basketball program set the college's record for most three pointers taken and made in a single season, and a large part of that was the performance of sharp-shooting guard Taycee Wedin, who set the WCC record for most three-pointers made in a single season.
