ROME, Italy — In its final full day in Rome, the Saint Mary's women's basketball took it all in during its summer Foreign Tour on Sunday with a trip to Vatican City, ran a youth clinic and played its final game of the tour.
During the morning, Saint Mary's took a team tour to Vatican City, including the historic Sistine Chapel. In the evening, the Gaels faced Lazio Select WPH Academy and cruised to an easy 110-43 victory. Saint Mary's concludes the tour with a 3-0 record.
The Gaels dominated the game from the opening tip Sunday night, and had six players in double figures, including a game-high 18 points from Ella Wedin.
