FLORENCE, Italy — On its second full day in Italy for the 2024 Foreign Summer Tour, Saint Mary's women's basketball stayed near its home base in Montecatini Terme and took a short bus ride to Pisa, followed by a trip to downtown Florence on Thursday afternoon.
The Gaels' first stop of the day was in Pisa, and many were excited to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa and it didn't disappoint. The team went on a guided tour around the Piazza dei Miracoli, which included climbing the 248 stairs to the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, followed by lunch downtown.
