VENICE, Italy — The Saint Mary's women's basketball team arrived in Italy for its Summer F
oreign Tour late on Tuesday afternoon, and quickly adjusted to the time change as they prepared for an exciting visit to Venice on Wednesday.
The first day of the trip began with a 2-hour train ride from Florence to Venice, where the Gaels had all day to explore the historic Italian city.
After taking a couple different boat taxis through the Grand Canal, Saint Mary's met at San Marcos square for a walking guided tour.
