LARAMIE, Wyo. — Saint Mary's Volleyball opened up the 2021 season at the Rumble in the Rockies on Friday, playing two matches. While both were against different teams from different parts of the country, the Gaels showed that it didn't matter who they were playing – they were going to be successful. SMC did not lose a set on Friday in sweeping both the Siena Saints and the Wyoming Cowgirls to open up a perfect 2-0 on the season.

One area the Gaels needed to improve on from the 2020 season was their attack, which finished eighth in the WCC one season ago in attack percentage.
