MORAGA, Calif. — There has been a natural progression through the first month of the season for the Saint Mary’s volleyball team. The schedule has tested them, injuries have been inconvenient, but the Gaels have grinded through it all.
This weekend the Gaels carry that momentum into their opening West Coast Conference matches at home. However, continued growth doesn’t come without hard work. Something newcomer Emily Bible has embodied already in her first indoor season with the Gaels.
TESTED EARLY
“I talked to the team about how our preseason ended, and how it would be easy to feel like we ended on a down note because we lost four matches in a row,” said Saint Mary’s head coach Rob Browning.
