BERKELEY, Calif. – Saint Mary's recorded a number of impressive finishes this weekend at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge including race wins and multiple personal bests.
For the women's team, freshman Amrita Vepa recorded a 1:05.83 in the 400 meter dash. Ellen Burbank (4:54.17) and Katie Watson (5:12.74) raced in the 1500 and earned third place and 11th place respectively. Kaela Dishion landed herself a third place finish in the 5K race with a time of 18:25.51. But the race of the day went to Emma McCarthy who not only earned herself a first place finish in the 800 meter, but she also recorded a personal best and a heat win.
