Thirteen years ago on Oct. 14, Steve Bartman became the most hated man in Chicago when he interfered with Moises Alou while he was trying to catch a foul ball. From that moment on, the 2003 Chicago Cubs would never be the same and dropped game six and game seven to the Florida Marlins while the Curse of the Billy Goat lived on.
Cub fans were devastated and on top of all that they had someone to blame for all of this, and that person was Bartman. However, it was not Bartman’s fault that the Cubs lost that game and game seven because the person that was responsible for getting the Cub fans rallied up was Moises Alou.
