MORAGA, Calif. — After a dominating weekend on the mound, Saint Mary's Sofia Earle has been named Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the week. She is the second Gael to earn the award this year, as Kayla Scott did so in week one of the season.
Sofia Earle turned in her best week of the season as she went 2-1 in the circle for Saint Mary's. After taking a loss on Friday, Earle was nearly perfect in her final two outings of the week. She threw a complete game one-hitter against Columbia on Saturday, allowing just one unearned run while striking out eight.
