MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's College community mourns the loss of former Gael football student-athlete and long-time athletic department administrator Steve Jacoby. Jacoby was a beloved figure within the campus community and throughout the East Bay. A memorial service will be held Monday, Nov. 6 on the Saint Mary's campus.
Jacoby was a larger-than-life figure on the Saint Mary's campus since his playing days in the early 1980's. He went on to coach and work at Saint Mary's until the early 2000's. During his time on campus, he played a pivotal role in the lives of countless students.
