SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Katie Moss has been named the West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week, it was announced by the conference office. Moss becomes the second SMC pitcher to win the award after Lujane Mussadi took honors a few weeks ago.
Moss was stellar in the circle for the Gaels, going 3-0 starting all three victories on the road at San Diego. The junior began the week tossing a complete game three-hitter. The win set the tone for the series as Moss went 17.1 innings, allowed 13 hits, one earned run, nine strikeouts and a 0.
