MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's softball is excited to announce the addition of Iris Bejarano as the newest commit to the program. Bejarano continues a recent trend of recruiting student-athletes from the Central Coast, but she has Bay Area ties at the collegiate level.
Bejarano is a corner infielder who stands at 5'4", currently playing at Holy Names University in Oakland. The Hawks program will be closing at the end of the season, giving Bejarano a chance to transfer to a DI softball program. She is hitting .321 on the season for Holy Names as a freshman, with a home run and five runs batted in.
