MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's softball head coach Sonja Garnett announced the addition of two new assistant coaches to her staff today to help the team during the 2020 season, Gordy Bravo and Tony Bari.
Bravo was a former standout at BYU where she played centerfield from 2013-16. She was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year as a junior when she batted .444 which still stands as the school's single-season record for batting average.
In her final two seasons, Bravo was named First Team All-WCC and helped the Cougars win the conference and reach the NCAA Regionals in all four seasons.
