RENO, Nev. — The Gaels (19-13) were given all they could handle with the Nevada Wolfpack (27-7), dropping both ends of a doubleheader via the run rule. Saint Mary's mustered up early offense in both contests, but could not maintain their early leads against the offensive juggernaut that was the Nevada lineup.

It was a dream start for the Gaels, who, with two outs in the first, plated a pair to go ahead in the early goings. It started with Marissa Montelongo, who launched a ball to dead center and over the wall for her second career home run.
