MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s rowing team heads to the West Coast Conference Championships at Lake Natoma in Rancho Cordova on Saturday. The event is held at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center, a place the Gaels are familiar with having raced there four times this season, including at the WIRA Championships two weeks ago.
The SMC varsity four will race at 9 AM, followed by the second varsity eight at 9:20 AM and the varsity eight race at 9:40 AM.
At last year’s WCC Championships, the Gaels were headlined by the second varsity eight boat which medaled, edging out LMU for third place overall.
