RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — With the end of the rowing season rapidly approaching, the Gaels honored six graduating seniors after the conclusion of day two of the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Associations.
Saint Mary's first varsity eight boat started off the last day of the tournament finishing in sixth place in six minutes, 47.042 seconds with plenty of time between West Coast Conference rival Santa Clara. The second varsity eight boat matched their performance from Saturday and proved their strength finishing third in 6:42.583 just beating out Sacramento State, again. Saint Mary's two varsity four boats finished back-to-back in the same heat.
