REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s rowing team won 4-of-5 races at Redwood Shores going up against Santa Clara and Humboldt State.
In the morning races, Saint Mary’s recorded a 6:55 time, defeating Santa Clara’s 7:11 time. The Gaels second varsity eight came in with a time of 7:03, defeating Santa Clara’s 7:56.
In the afternoon races, the Gaels raced to a time of 6:57, edging Humboldt State 7:01. SMC’s novice eight finished second to HSU, while the SMC varsity four and second varsity four also cruised to victory.
