MORAGA, Calif. — Rowing head coach Anna Pytlak restocked her coaching staff this week with the hire of Vanessa Tavalero. Tavalero joins the Gaels as an assistant coach, filling the position vacated by Gulliver Scott who recently took the head coaching spot at Portland.
"I'm really excited that Coach Talavero accepted the position," said Pytlak. "She has coached at a number of top programs and will bring a wealth of championship experience to the team. We already have had some great talks about plans for the team moving forward and I can't wait to get to work with her.
