BRIONES RESERVOIR, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Rowing team competed against Cal Berkeley earlier today.
The Gaels put up a fight and raced against the Bears and came really close on all three pieces, ending each piece with contact. SMC ended up falling short to the University of California's 5V 8+ boat.
A quote from Head Coach after today's race, "It was a really fun day of racing and brought out an extra gear of competitiveness we're going to need in the challenging middle part of our schedule."
The Saint Mary's Rowing team will be back in action next Saturday and Sunday in Spokane, Washington for the Gonzaga Dual.
