FOLSOM, Calif. — The 2021-22 Saint Mary's Rowing season came to a close on Saturday morning with the completion of the 2022 West Coast Conference Championship. Saturday marked the fourth time this season the Gaels have competed on Lake Natoma, and the second competition in a row held on the local course, after the WIRA Championships were two weekends ago. The Gaels finished sixth place overall this year, and landed two on the postseason All-WCC team.
The varsity fours began the morning on the water, and the Gaels posted a time of 9:38.9. Their varsity eight times were better, as the Gaels finished with marks of 8:03.
