LAKE NATOMA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's rowing team wrapped up its spring season with the West Coast Conference Championship finishing fifth on the day with two players earning spots on the 2017 All-WCC Rowing Team.
The Gaels finished the tournament in fifth place with a total of 20 points. Portland also finished with 20 points but won the tiebreaker due to its placement in the 1v8 Varsity Eight Race to earn fourth. Gonzaga swept all three races to earn first on the day with 42 points.
Saint Mary's started the day finishing fifth the Varsity Four race in 7 minutes, 48.
