MORAGA, Calif. - Women's Basketball's Taycee Wedin has been named the Bay Alarm Student Athlete of the Week after taking sole possession of the career three-point record in program history.
The senior's first three pointer last Thursday night at home against Santa Clara broke at tie of 268 threes made with former Gael Jontelle Smith (2005-10). Wedin tied the program record of 268 career threes with 1:13 left in the game at LMU. She surpassed the program record with just over a minute to go in the first quarter at home against Santa Clara to put the Gaels up 21-16.
