MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary’s women’s basketball’s Sydney Raggio was named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 14-20 after averaging nearly a double-double and shooting better than 77 percent in two games, helping the Gaels go undefeated on a road trip to Boston.
The Gaels (2-2) traveled more than 2,600 miles from home last week and went unbeaten with a 77-53 win at previously unbeaten Northeastern on Friday and a 62-54 win at ACC member Boston College on Sunday. Raggio averaged 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in the two wins while shooting 77.
