SAN MATEO, Calif. – Nathan Chong of the Saint Mary's Baseball team was named the WCC Player of the Week for May 8, 2023 after a great series at Gonzaga for the Gaels designated hitter.
Chong hit .455 (5 for 11) during the Gaels series win at Gonzaga and slugged over a thousand at 1.182. He belted two home runs and two doubles while driving in five runs and scoring five times.
