MORAGA, Calif. - In the 2024 season, the Saint Mary's men's cross country team made history with their best finish at the NCAA West Regionals meet as they finished 14th out of 31 teams, tied their best finish since 1999 placing 5th at the West Coast Conference Championships, and finished second at the USF Invite for the first time in over eight years. Graduate Student Zane Jackson was the leading Gael in his first year with the squad, pacing the Gaels in four of five meets.
Jackson started off the season competing at the USF Invite with a time of 24:46.
