MALIBU, Calif. — Senior Daniel Krutik earned the Gaels' lone win on Saturday as Saint Mary's (3-13, 1-4 WCC) dropped Saturday's road match to the Waves, 4-1.
Krutik took care of business as the Gaels' No. 4 player with a straight set win over Pawel Jankowiak. The senior breezed to a 6-1 win in the first set before clinching the match with a 6-4 second set. Krutik is now tied for first on the team with six singles wins this season.
Pepperdine (8-8, 2-1 WCC) grabbed the doubles point with wins on Courts 1 and 2.
