BOISE, Idaho – The Saint Mary's Men's Tennis Team began their fall season at the General Patton Invitational hosted by Boise State, and sophomore Diego Jarry marched on to the round of eight in the men's singles bracket.
Jarry easily topped Josh Watkins of the University of Montana 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the round of 16, and then the Santiago, Chile native outlasted Bodin Zarkovic of Utah State 7-6 (3), 6-3 to advance to the round of eight on Saturday.
Carlos Ramos-Membrives got a win in three sets in the first round, defeating Baltazar Wiger-Nordas of Montana 7-6, 2-6, 6-4, before a loss to Utah States Roko Savin in the second round.
