PALO ALTO, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis opened their spring dual-match season at Stanford with a 7-0 loss to the Cardinal.
The start of the spring season was delayed by a day due to the rain in the Bay Area, but clear, balmy conditions allowed for the season to kick off on Thursday.
The Gaels unfortunately couldn't shake the No. 12 Cardinal with a 7-6 win in the doubles match ups for Diego Jarry and Caelan Potts. That would be SMC's only win of the day as Stanford improved to 11-0 in their history against Saint Mary's.
