MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's men's tennis (4-4) recorded their first clean sheet of the season on Saturday as they easily defeated UC Santa Cruz in a 7-0 shutout.
Matis Bot earned the first win of the day for SMC in the No. 5 spot before Abhishek Bastola recorded a 6-0, 6-1 victory as the No. 4 seed. Jackson Hawk tallied his first win of the season over David Jackson while Damon Kesaris claimed a 6-1, 6-3 win as the top singles player. Rounding out the singles victories were Felipe Rincon and Karlo Divkovic who secured wins on Courts 3 and 4, respectively.
