ST. HELENA, Calif. — Saint Mary's picked up wins once again on both the singles and doubles court during the second day of the Audi Napa Valley Classic at Meadowood Napa Valley Resort on Saturday.
Damon Kesaris advanced to 2-0 in the tournament with a win over Cal's Paul Barretto. The Gaels' senior needed just two sets to pick up the win in 6-3, 7-5 fashion. James Watt put up a good fight in his match against Baylor's Sven Lah but ultimately fell, 6-4, 6-4.
The Saint Mary's tandem went up against USTA juniors Samir Banerjee and Luke Casper and cruised to a 6-0 win to improve to 2-0 in the event.
