MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team went 2-0 over the weekend for their first first WCC victories of the season. The Gaels took down Portland 4-2 on Saturday and then ended the weekend with a 4-1 match win over Gonzaga on Sunday. Leading the charge was freshman Finn Dyer who was a perfect 4-0 on the weekend with a pair of doubles and singles victories. As a result, Dyer was named this week's Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week for the first time in his SMC career.
Dyer won in a dramatic three-set singles match on Saturday to clinch the victory for the Gaels against Portland on Saturday.
