BERKELEY, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis dropped their second dual match of the season 7-0 to the Cal Bears. The match was rescheduled to today after the this past weekend's severe wind and rain in the Bay Area.
The Gaels have started the season facing Pac-12 foes Cal and Stanford, and the two traditional rivals have kept pace with each other by shutting out SMC to start the spring slate.
Carlos Ramos Membrives and Caelen Potts each had their first set go to a tie breaker, with Cal narrowly edging out the Gaels to get the win.
