MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis went 2-0 at home over the weekend, defeating USF 4-1 and Santa Clara 4-3, bringing the Gaels to 2-1 in WCC play this season.
On Saturday USF came out of the gate taking the doubles point, but that would be all they would get against the Gaels who swept the singles competition.
SMC would only need two sets in all of their victories. got things started with a 6-4, 6-1 win, followed by winning 6-3, 6-2, as did . would seal the win for the Gaels with a 7-5, 6-4 win in the closest match to finish on the day.
