SAN JOSE, Calif. — No. 8 Saint Mary's trailed late in their Monday night road match versus San Jose State but caught fire and never looked back as they scored five unanswered goals to win, 5-2. The Gaels are now unbeaten in their last 28 matches and hold a 24-0-4 record during that time.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite outshooting the Spartans 8-2 in the first half, the Gaels entered the locker room trailing 1-0. The game seemed even more bleak after SJSU scored another goal in the 61st minute to take a 2-0 advantage courtesy of Khorami Suliman's spin-around shot from 18 yards out.
