STANFORD, Calif. — No. 11 Saint Mary's squared off with No. 5 Stanford for a road exhibition match on Tuesday night but ultimately fell 3-0 to the Cardinal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Stanford tallied three goals in the final half and all after the 65th minute. Freshman Ousseni Bouda contributed to each goal and scored the middle tally in the 73rd minute.
Tuesday's contest was the first time the Gaels took the field in a competitive match since their NCAA Tournament loss to Stanford on Nov. 25 of last year.
21 total Gaels took the field in the game with only James Person and Jeremiah Michael playing the full 90.
