SEASIDE, Calif. - Saint Mary's wrapped up the Leadership and Golf Collegiate Championship at Bayonet on Wednesday by jumping four spots on the team leaderboard to finish in a tie for fifth place. The course played fair and true with great conditions on Monday and Wednesday. The Gaels found themselves in 9th place after a tough couple of rounds but finished 284 (-4) as a team to crack the top five along with Santa Clara.
With rounds under par, Connor Reis and Avery Lazarski finished inside the top-15 individually to lead the team.
