EL MACERO, Calif. - Saint Mary's carried their momentum from their second place finish earlier in the week at the Tiger Invitational and finished day one of the El Macero Classic in a tie for third place at five-under. The defending champs heated up on the back nine combining for nine birdies to climb into the third spot on the team leaderboard.
Aidan Lee and Connor Reis recorded a pair of 70's to lead the way, rounding out the top-ten individually. Zack Missigman was also in red figures at one-under-par while Go Nakatsukasa battled through an up and down scorecard to finish even par.
