SAN DIEGO -- The Saint Mary's men's basketball concluded a 3-game road swing tonight with a defensive gem that resulted in a 60-43 victory over San Diego in Jenny Craig Pavilion.
The Gaels limited San Diego to a 0-for-11 performance from beyond the 3-point arc and outrebounded the Toreros 46-30 to improve their record to 19-3 on the season and 10-2 in the West Coast Conference. San Diego fell to 8-15 overall and 3-9 in league play.
San Diego native Joe Rahon led three Saint Mary's players in double figures with 13 points to with six rebounds in a game-high 38 minutes of action.
