MBK | Landale Named Finalist for Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Honor

SPRINGFIELD, MASS. – Currently averaging points 17 points, 9.6 rebounds and a total of 10 double-doubles on the season thus far, center Jock Landale has gained another national recognition as he is a finalist for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award.

Landale opened the 2016-17 campaign as the team’s starting center, and has been the top performer for the nationally-ranked Gaels. The 6-11 big man is coming off his fourth double-double in five games versus Pacific. He totaled a game-high 22 points to go along with 12 boards.

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced today the 10 watch list finalists for the award.
