MBK | Big Win Over Southern Utah Fueled By Full Team Effort

MORAGA, Calif. — Four double-figure scoring performances and points from 10 different players Wednesday lifted the Saint Mary’s College men’s basketball team to a 92-36 non-conference win over visiting Southern Utah at McKeon Pavilion.

The 36 points allowed were the lowest by the Gaels in more than 13 years, since limiting Holy Names University to 33 on Nov. 24, 2002. It was the fifth time this season Saint Mary’s scored at least 80 points, a scenario in which they are 6-0 this season. The Gaels improved to 8-1 in their final non-conference game before opening West Coast Conference play Monday at San Francisco.
