SAN MATEO, Calif. — Saint Mary's Men's Basketball is on a roll, winning five-straight games in West Coast Conference play to solidify themselves in second place in the conference standings. All season long, they've been anchored by Matthias Tass in the paint, and this week he gets rewarded for his efforts. For the first time this season, Tass has been named the WCC's Player of the Week for helping lead Saint Mary's to a big 2-0 week.
No Gael was more important to SMC winning both WCC games this week than Matthias Tass, who put up one of his best weeks of the season.
