SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Since the rolling over of the calendar for 2025, there has been only one WCC Freshman of the Week winner, and that student-athlete is Saint Mary's own Mikey Lewis. Lewis picked up his third honor of the season after averaging 13.5 points per contest and shooting 58% from the field and 63% from beyond the arc in the Gaels two wins over LMU and San Diego. Lewis now has taken sole possession of most WCC Freshman of the Week honors, surpassing Austin Rapp (Portland), Jaxon Olvera (Pepperdine) and teammate Andrew McKeever, who are all two time winners.
