SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. — In their first full week of WCC play, the Saint Mary's Gaels cruised to a pair of 20+ point victories over Pepperdine and Portland. Both games had multiple stars contributing for the Gaels, but the biggest offensive contributor this week was true freshman Mikey Lewis, scoring 26 points over the two games, logging back-to-back double digit scoring outings for the first time since the open of the season when he did it in each of his first four collegiate games. As such, Lewis has been named Week Nine's WCC Freshman of the Week, his second time earning this honor.
