NEW YORK — The NBA G-League held its annual draft this past weekend, and Gael great Logan Johnson was selected ninth overall by the Oklahoma City Blue. Johnson will join fellow Gaels Patty Mills, Jock Landale and Jordan Ford in playing professional basketball in the United States this season.
Johnson spent four years as a point guard on the Gael roster after transferring from Cincinnati. Whether on offense or defense, the Mountain View native always seemed to make plays for the Gaels. In 114 games (90 starts) for Saint Mary's, he averaged 10.
