MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's fended off a pesky Pepperdine (10-10, 6-5 WCC) squad to get back in the win column with a 66-61 victory inside UCU Pavilion on Monday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gaels (12-7, 3-5 WCC) had three players reach double figure points in the contest and were led by Logan Johnson with 19. The junior was 3-of-6 from beyond the arc, had a team-best five assists, and also co-led with seven rebounds.
Johnson had a few key buckets late to help cement the win for Saint Mary's.
