MORAGA, Calif. — One of the best Saint Mary's basketball big men to ever don a Gaels uniform, Jock Landale, will never have his uniform number worn again, as it will hang from the rafters of University Credit Union, the athletic department announced today. The jersey retirement ceremony is set to take place on February 15 prior to the Gaels clash with Pepperdine.
A four year Gael, Landale played for Coach Randy Bennett's squad from 2014-2018. In that span, Jock helped lead the Gaels to 109 victories, an NCAA tournament berth, the programs only 30 win season, and the programs longest winning streak at 19 games in a row.
