MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's Women's Basketball's Maia Jones has been named the Shamrock Office Solutions Player of the Week as voted on by the SMC staff after her 22-point performance in the Gaels win over Santa Clara.
Jones got the scoring started for Saint Mary's, draining her first of four three pointers on the day. She'd also help the Gaels finish strong by scoring eight of SMC's first 11 points of the fourth. She'd finish the game with 22 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the floor, including 4 of 7 from deep, and had two assists and two steals in 33 minutes played.
