MORAGA, Calif. — Five different players scored goals Tuesday for the Saint Mary’s women’s lacrosse team, including four with two goals each, but LIU Brooklyn pulled away in the latter part of the second half to defeat the Gaels 22-9 at Recreation Field.
Lauren Neumann, Meagan Bennett, Megan Zummo and Hanna Dalrymple all scored two goals each for Saint Mary’s (0-3). Neumann added an assist for a team-high three points in the game. Claire Healy scored the Gaels’ first goal of the game 7 minutes, 47 seconds in, to make it 2-1.
